Pornhub launches new interactive sex toy section which includes videos that will sync up with sex toys to give users a more interactive experience. Other news this week includes the possibility of astral sex, as well as genetically modified babies.

Immersive porn is more popular and in demand now that ever before. Virtual reality porn, for instance, is rapidly increasing in popularity. Now you can take it one step further by syncing sex toys to videos that will allow you to feel yourself in rhythm with the performance on screen.

Fleshlight and Kiirooo have released electronic fleshlights previously. These could be used in “manual” mode, where the pumping action is set at a certain tempo. They could also be connected to the internet via Bluetooth tethering to a phone, which allows them to sync to specially made porn videos.

Pornhub has decided to add a new section dedicated to these types of videos. The section isn’t only limited to fleshlight toys. Videos in future will also be compatible with female sex toys such as the OhMiBod. The videos are made in collaboration with Ufeel.tv and in future, they hope to have more diverse videos.

Currently the videos are geared for those interested in vanilla porn, or hand ob videos. Full story here

What is astral sex and does it work?

Astral sex is the idea of having sex with someone on the astral plain with your astral form, that is, your soul. People who partake in astral sex claim that it is more intimate that physical sex.

You can also meet strangers on the astral plain and get your groove on there. The added bonus is that you don’t need to worry about contracted STDs. There’s also no chance of pregnancy.

Astral projection specialist Steve G. Jones tells the Mirror “Feedback is very important during sexual intercourse and that’s sometimes lost in the physical world…but in the astral world, feedback is automatic, because you’re seeing their soul.”

However, when sex columnist Rebecca Reid tried it, she and her partner were unable to project their souls out and get to the astral plain for sexy times. Her partner did manage to fall asleep quite peacefully though.

Making babies without the sex

Henry Greely, the director of the Center for Law and the Biosciences at Stanford Law School, believes that in the future we will be able to create babies without needing to have sex. Or eggs or sperm.

Instead, couples will be able to use stem cells from non-reproductive organs and have them made into sperm and eggs. These will then be fertilised and created into embryos. From the embryos, couples will be screen and couples will have a chance to select which desired baby they would like to have.

Looking at the gene sequence of the embryos mean that parents will be able to see which potential embryo carries genetic diseases, or has a higher chance of being handicapped. To another extent, they will even be able to pick out which has the highest potential for intelligence. Cosmetic options such as eye colour and hair colour is also an option.

This future technique offers hope to those who are unable to conceive naturally. It also gives same-sex parents the possibility of having a child with both their genetic code.
