The pornography industry has the reputation of being run by men, sweaty, sleazy men with a penchant for degrading women and hoarding cash. At least, as I said, that’s its reputation. Just as the anti-porn campaigners found a fresh excuse to try to shut down sex workers, though, a new wave of porn studios and sites owned, operated, and created by women have rolled in to change the face of porn for the better. Acclaimed all-female hardcore studio GirlsWay is a leader of the pack and is reviewed here by Mr Pinks.
Founded in 2014 by director and former film student, Bree Mills, GirlsWay is arguably porn’s most prominent all-female network, home as it is to five original sites showcasing nothing but the finest in hardcore sapphic thrills.
Cultivating a series of storylines, characters, and scenarios that amplify the existing sexual tension ’till it’s damn near tangible, Mills and her fellow directors have created something very special here with Sex Tape Lesbians, Mommy’s Girl, WebYoung, Girls Try Anal, and GirlsWay Originals.
Models
Predictably, GirlsWay is entirely focused on women and viewers are better for it! Showcase updates hone in on hot newcomers, torrid story lines allow the better actors to really shine, and the very steamy, impassioned sex bring plenty of sapphic heat to the screen.
The mostly natural bodies seen here on women aged 18-to-58 bring amazing views when thrown together in duos, trios, and groups. Cherie Deville, Jelena Jensen, Bree Daniels, and Charlotte Stokely represent the more experienced ladies while Eliza Jane, Lena Paul, Kenzie Reeves, and Ana Foxxx are fresher faces.

Almost entirely working in narrative porn, GirlsWay’s creators have concocted numerous highly engaging story lines and themes to enhance the viewing experience. Character development is given high priority on most GirlsWay sites, giving the models a chance to showcase their acting skills before getting down to more fluid-rich exchanges.
Deep shadows and creative lightning and design lend credibility and class to most productions, and all is represented well on your screen whether streamed or downloaded. Videos reach 1080p HD at their best, while photo galleries, of which there’s often two or three-per scene, reach 1920px online and zipped, providing roundly erotic images of a more sedate mood.

Usability
Sitting on a great foundation for a website of any serious size, GirlsWay, which looks very similar in structure to Evil Angel and its affiliated entities, is a cinch to browse, search, and otherwise enjoy. Keyword tags and category listings point you in the right direction while the model index introduces you to a throng of amazing sapphic sluts, profiling them all to some degree.
The network does feature quite a lot of advertising but it’s thankfully not too horribly intrusive. One curious thing, though, is that GirlsWay has recently started downplaying the fact that it’s a network, not a single super-site.
The only apparent way to select one GirlsWay site and not the others is from the main video menu – no dedicated website menu seems to exist. All in all, that’s a pretty minor quibble.
Longevity
As GirlsWay continues to grow in popularity, more and more attention will fall on its five exclusive sites. Unfortunately, not all five continue to produce new content.
Sex Tape Lesbians hasn’t added anything new since mid-2015 – a shame since it’s largely realistic handheld hookups were dripping with intimate erotic thrills. All other sites maintain a good schedule, seeing new episodes hit the network almost daily, while the network archive already holds more than 930 scenes and nearly 1500 galleries.
Member interaction is strong here, too, with an active forum allowing us all to offer suggestions for models, sex acts, storylines, and more.
Value
Loaded with a strong selection of standalone episodes, mini-series, and feature movies, GirlsWay has plenty to offer for a very reasonable price. Good entertainment value – actual dramatic entertainment, too, not just sex – and,of course, some very steamy sex makes for engaging viewing.
Focuses on particular women and pairings add depth and, although scenes can spend too much time on narratives, create quite a well rounded studio site. Left to GirlsWay, there’ll always be a place in the porn world for artistically ambitious all-female sex such as this.
