We wondered how many guys actually do masturbate with a male friend or have watched porn with others before. Our recent Twitter poll produced some interesting results with 11 per cent of straight men confessing to masturbation with a male friend.
Becoming men
In early puberty it might be fairly normal for boys to share porn together. If you find something fun to watch, you may choose to show it to your friends. A personal recommendation of sorts and the chance to view things you might not access elsewhere.
Yet now that porn is usually pretty accessible, it’s unlikely that you have to watch porn together out of necessity. Choosing to do so though might act as a mark of passage. Boys becoming men by exploring new things together and having a kind of bromance by laughing about it.
The vast majority of adults do or have watched porn at some stage in their life. It’s so common now that there isn’t really a stigma about watching porn. Whether it’s something mild or more hardcore action, porn shows sexual fantasies in an engaging dynamic which entertain.
On bachelor parties, going to a strip club seems to be a very predictable event. Getting drunk with friends and going to a gentlemen’s club can be a laugh. Many of you will have been on it or will have at least been invited.

Is it ok to masturbate with a friend?
When it comes to the question of whether it’s ok to masturbate with a male friend, it’s ultimately down to the individual. So long as both of you are comfortable doing so, there’s no reason not to try a communal jerk. Whether it’s done as a one off thing or a more regular event might be entirely down to your level of friendship.
Although there are other circles where you can choose to masturbate with a friend openly and it not be an issue about being exposed. Dress codes are more optional with it almost being a celebration of manhood. Quite literally.
Choosing to masturbate with a friend may be due to having limited privacy but both being horny. Such as at a sleepover or when you’re camping and you both feel the urge to bash the bishop. Of course, not owning a penis myself I can’t say I’ve ever done it.
